Humans are evolving from millions of years to the very form in the present day. Scientifically it is said that many organs and body parts have been modified or have been lost in the process of evolution, until the very recent finding of accessory arteries in the forearm which is said to be due to the overuse of gadgets. Utmost care has been taken and different streams of medicines and different ways in different regions have been invented to keep the body in its prick of health, but with each passing day a new challenge is presented in front of mankind by nature and the entire mankind struggles to cope with it.
Today, if we ask someone, “Who are you?” The answer will be the things that a person is attached with; somebody who is attached to his name will answer by his name or maybe mention some other thing as his identity. But is it true that you are only an attachment?
Guruji always says that humans are not just the body or the things attached with it. He further says that, “We humans are not just that which is seen in the visible form. The presence of humans is far more subtle and most of the humans have never even tried to explore beyond.”
He adds,
“Progress only in the physical direction is incomplete growth if the person is not growing spiritually, then the growth is worthless.”
He explains this with a very beautiful example, say if you want to go to your office from your home and you need to travel from city’s one end of the city to another, what are the things that you need for a smooth & peaceful drive? What most people answer is a high end luxury car is required to reach your destination smoothly, but is it true? Guruji disagrees. He says that if the fuel is not good, will the car run properly or say when the road is not good and filled with potholes will the ride be smooth or will you reach your destination on time?
So is the case with humans!
As commoners, we believe that the human being is the body and mind and only in words people might have heard body, mind & Soul. In fact, even the World Health Organisation (WHO) defines health / well-being as, “A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” Spiritually, as Guruji says, the definition is incomplete.
Do you know?
“There are more than 5000 emotions present and humans are capable of living them all but people are aware or express only 20 to 30 types of emotions maximum in their whole life’’.
How many types of emotions do you know and have lived?
